Floral Art Beginners and Intermediate
(Commercial and Hobby)
4 terms x 8 weeks = 1 Year Certification

Beginners and Intermediate Terms, Students learn the spiral-technique of hand bunching, cross-stem hand bunching, modern designs, open sprays, artistic vase work, commercial designs for all occasions in various, unusal and modern containers. All geometric designs will be taught to give a solid background for the future.

Stylish Table designs, various seagrass gift baskets, ceramic ideas and medium sized corporate designs will also be arranged during these important terms 32-36 designs will be completed, this course is also ideal for florists to come and update their designs with the most appealing and advanced styles.

Duration:	32 sessions, once per week
Day:	1- 3 p.m. Crows Nest & Dural, 1.30 – 3.30 p.m. Wiseman’s Ferry
Night:	6pm-8pm
Materials:	All floristry materials and flowers are provided and must be paid for at each class

Advanced Floral Art Certification
(Commercial & Hobby)
4 terms x 8 weeks = 1 Year Certification

Continuing on from intermediate moving to a higher level and understanding more complex designs and using more flowers, concentrating on buliding confidence to balance larger, heavier stemmed flowers and natives. Learning more about the various techniques, mechanics and containers. Doing more lessons on depth and dimension, colour harmony, finding excitement and adventure in experimentation and creating unusal arrangements with all types of botanical materials and flowers. Enjoying the challenge of success in the outcome planned ahead with great thought and enthusiasm. This is the level where skill and ability shines through. Course includes Special events and Themes, Window design, Creative Innovations, Corporate design and Funeral Tribute.

UPON COMPLETION OF THE ABOVE 32 LESSONS A CERTIFICATE IS GIVEN FOR ONE YEAR

Wedding Specialist Certification
(Please note classes are 3 hours each)

 

Students will learn everything to do with weddings including Church, Outdoor ceremonies, Reception, Stunning Guest tables, Bridal bouquets, Bridesmaids bouquets, Hair designs, pew decorations, corsages, buttonholes, cake decoration, the latest ideas for flower girls and junior bridesmaids. Entrance Foyer, Pedestal, Pillar decorations, Staircase designs will also be learnt, the most modern, stylish and simple techniques are taught.

A COURSE TO CAPTURE AND INSPIRE THE MOST ARTISTIC, OR LEAST.

Advanced Wedding Specialist Certification
8 weeks x 4 terms= 1 Year Certification
(Intensive Wedding Specialist Course)

For those who have already completed Year 1 Certificate and wish to reach a higher level and become more experienced. During this year you will gain even more confidence and be able to do weddings professionally and perfectly to a very high standard. The 'best is a description of the quality of your work and success as a Wedding Specialist. Brides wanting superior or original creations in modern or traditional styles will be overwhelmed with the stunning bouquets you design for them. You will gain work experience with Academy, working on actual Weddings and Special functions with one of Sydneys renowned Wedding Floral Designers.
